Configuring a VPN for Windows 95, 98
1. Double-click on My Computer.
2. Double-click on Dial-Up Networking.
3. Right-click on the newly created connection Vpn icon .
4. Click on the properties.
5. Click on the Server Types Tab.
In Advanced options check the box beside Enable software compression.
Make sure only TCP/IP has been selected under Allowed network protocols.
6. Click on the TCP/IP Settings button.
Uncheck the Use Default Gateway on remote network box and click ok.
The VPN has been configured successfully.
