Summary of Job Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming calls at the customer support help desk
- Provide 1st level technical support to clients by identifying, researching, isolating and resolving client issues
- Professionally, accurately and efficiently handle customer inquiries through Internet, email and telephone, and resolve technical and performance related issues
- Must immediately respond to client inquiries and determine appropriate response level or escalate problems as appropriate
- Maintain customer support database
Essential Job Functions:
- Trouble-shooting and diagnosis of technical issues
- Commitment to providing superior customer support
- Work effectively in a constantly changing environment
- Work well both individually with minimum supervision and in teams
- Maintain objectivity in effective problem resolution
Experience/Skills Required:
- Minimum 2-3 years client service and technical support experience within software/IT industry
- Excellent technical / computer skills
- Ability to communicate technical analysis to technical and non-technical audiences
- Proven abilities in customer service and/or relationship management
- Excellent written, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility within a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Ability and desire to research and learn new technology
Experience or knowledge in the following technologies will be helpful:
· Windows 2000 Server
· Microsoft Terminal Server
· Citrix MetaFrame
· Active Directory
· Microsoft Exchange
